Training & Cooperation Activities
Training & Cooperation Activities (TCAs) are events arranged by National Agencies to encourage collaboration and sharing of best practice within Erasmus+. They can be:
- Training and support events aimed at National Agency staff and project coordinators;
- Contact seminars to find project partners;
- Thematic seminars addressing specific topics in education, training and youth work.
Types of TCA
TCAs in the youth field are organised through the SALTO (Support, Advanced Learning and Training Opportunities) network. TCAs in other fields are arranged by National Agencies themselves, and opportunities to attend both are announced in our Training and Events section.

Funding
TCA costs vary according to the venue and programme involved. In general, participants in TCAs organised through SALTO receive a 70% reimbursement of their travel costs from Léargas. Participants in TCAs organised directly by other National Agencies and our National Agency are asked to contribute €65 towards the costs agreed with Léargas (usually international travel, event fee and accommodation)
Benefits
Taking part in a TCA allows organisations to expand their base of knowledge, extend their network of contacts, and increase the impact of their own work through sharing of information.

Erasmus+: Developing Creative Partnerships in Europe
Although Peter Hussey has worked on Erasmus+ projects for some time, he has never planned or taken part in a Partnership project. He recently attended a TCA course in Berlin on getting started with Partnerships and this. By the end of the course, they had created a Strategic Partnership proposal.
