Erasmus+ 2021-2027
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. It provides funding and support for organisations to carry out projects that match its objectives, and that encourage European exchange, co-operation and learning.
Erasmus+ Opportunities for Youth Workers, Organisations and Young People
Youth workers and young people can travel to another country for training or exchange. This is a 'Mobility Project', part of Erasmus+ Key Action 1. Youth organisations can collaborate with other relevant organisations to achieve a shared goal or share good practices. These are 'Cooperation Partnerships', part of Erasmus+ Key Action 2. Youth workers, Youth managers and others involved in youth work can take part in short Training courses and Cooperation Activities, both in Ireland and in other countries. Many are open to newcomers, so you do not need to be part of an existing Erasmus+ project.

European Solidarity Corps
Young people aged 18 to 30 can volunteer in projects that meet community needs, or set up their own ‘Solidarity’ project to address an issue they are concerned about. Youth organisations can send or receive volunteers as part of the programme.

Eurodesk
Eurodesk Ireland provides free and reliable advice, information and support on accessing hundreds of European opportunities and programmes for those aged 13 to 30.

YouthWork and You
This instruction module for youth workers and youth organisations is part of the youthworkandyou.org project, a collaboration between Léargas, NYCI and Maynooth University. It is designed to enhance understanding of international youth work in the context of European programmes. It explores what is meant by international youth work and its impact on youth workers, organisations and young people.

Youth Wiki
Youth Wiki presents accessible, clear information on Youth policies in Ireland and Europe.

Languages
Youth initiatives that teach or celebrate languages in innovative ways can apply for the European Language Label award. Youth organisations can hold events to celebrate the European Day of Languages on 26 September.
