Launching a national report on the impact of Erasmus+ on the adult education sector in Ireland

Join Léargas as we launch our national report, which draws on research carried out across 2025 and 2026 with Irish organisations engaged in adult learning.

The launch offers an exciting opportunity to celebrate the success of Erasmus+ in empowering adult learners and adult education providers across Ireland to participate in European learning, development and innovation opportunities.

Completed as part of the RIA-AE transnational research analysis network study on the impact of Erasmus+ in the adult education sector, the Irish National Report provides an evidence-based analysis of adult learners, staff and providers participation.

The event will consist of a discussion of the research findings, contributions from adult learner participants in Erasmus+ actions, and a moderated panel discussion with key stakeholders in Irish and European adult education policy and practice.

This event is recognised as an Associated Event of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.
