Are you new to Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1) in Vocational Education and Training (VET)? Do you want to build high-quality mobility projects, streamline your preparation phase, and connect with potential European partners?

“Demystifying Erasmus+ VET Mobility Projects” is a 2.5-day Training and Cooperation Activity (TCA) tailored specifically for newcomers and less experienced VET beneficiaries.

Hosted in Dublin, Ireland, this activity brings together 40 participants across Europe to equip organisations with practical tools, planning techniques, and networking opportunities to implement successful mobility projects.

Objectives:

• Build Core Capacity: Equip KA1 VET beneficiaries with essential knowledge, practical tools, and management techniques to implement high-quality Erasmus+ mobility projects.
• Improve Project Planning: Support beneficiaries in structuring, managing, and executing KA1 project lifecycles aligned with Erasmus Quality Standards.
• Enhance Preparation: Strengthen pre-departure protocols and support strategies for VET learners and staff.
• Report & Measure Impact and Change: Provide strategies to capture learning outcomes, evaluate long-term results, and effectively disseminate project successes.
• Develop European Partnerships: Facilitate networking to build European partnerships for future KA1 VET mobility collaborations.

Expected Learning Outcomes

By the end of this event, participants will be able to:

• Navigate KA1 VET Rules: Understand the practical rules and compliance requirements of Key Action 1 VET mobility.
• Design Structured Preparation Plans: Develop pre-departure readiness checklists, safety/risk protocols, and pedagogical/learning preparation frameworks for VET learners.
• Apply Erasmus Quality Standards: Become aware and more knowledgeable about aligning project management practices directly with the official Erasmus Quality Standards for VET.
• Measure & Document Impact and Change: Begin to learn and consider how to utilise tools to track skill acquisition and measure the qualitative/quantitative impact of mobility on learners, staff and organisations.
• Establish European Partnerships: Develop contacts and draft preliminary project concepts with European partners for upcoming KA1 application rounds.
