Erasmus+VET: Moate Business College

Moate Business College, a further education institution in the Midlands, offers courses from sports and art to early learning and nursing. Through their Erasmus+ partnerships in Romania, Spain, and beyond, their students gain real‑world, international experiences that support both practical and personal development. 

Former student Patricija went to Romania on her nursing placement; “I have a lot more confidence, resilience. Obviously, it was hard because I’d never been away from my family that long, so it was a big independence boost.” 

To prepare students for life abroad, the College provides language lessons and cultural preparation as part of every mobility, to ensure participants feel equipped to make the most of the experience. 

Former student Nilvita went to Spain on her work placement and now supports other students in their preparations; “I was really nervous, but I really enjoyed it. It’s a great opportunity now to challenge yourself, to get new experiences, to grow more as a person.” 

As an organisation with Erasmus+ Accreditation, Moate Business College see Erasmus+ as a cornerstone of their work. They highlight the programme’s value not only for students but for the institution as a whole.
