Did you take part in a vocational work placement abroad through Erasmus+ or the Lifelong Learning (Leonardo da Vinci mobility) programme? Then we want to hear from you!
Earlier this year we published our impact study on Erasmus+ work placements for vocational learners from Ireland, and found there was a big increase in their personal and professional skills. We’re now working with nine other countries in Europe to find out how work placements affect the later lives and careers of vocational learners. We have a survey for anyone who was on a vocational placement between 2007 and 2018. It takes just ten minutes to complete and you don’t need to give contact details unless you want to. The survey will help us better understand how European placements affect vocational learners. This will also help us to improve the experiences of future vocational trainees. The participating countries are: Belgium, Latvia, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland and the UK.
You can take the survey from now until mid December at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/vet-2018-ie.
Please share the link with anyone you know who has been on a vocational placement! The Irish results will be available in summer 2019, and the European results in November 2019.
