We are delighted to announce that the NUI Cert Course is now open for applications, so visit our NUI Cert page to get involved!
Launched earlier this year, the new Erasmus+ programme 2021-2027 provides ample opportunities for young people, youth workers and youth organisations to integrate Erasmus+ activities into their processes, and the NUI Certificate Course in European Youth Mobility Project Management is just one of those opportunities.
Co-funded by Erasmus+ and launched in 2015 by Léargas and NUI Maynooth, it was the first Certificate programme specifically designed to develop expertise in both the theory and practice of European youth mobility projects. Aimed at youth workers and youth managers from all over the country, the 2021 course will be run online for the first time since its inception, which might make it easier for you to take part. It will also include a Study Visit to Finland in 2022 if considered feasible next year.
After completing the 2017-2018 course, Rachel Kelly, who has over 10 years’ experience in youth and community work, progressed into the role of project leader in her organisation, and attributed her experience of the course to this professional transition.
“I feel that the course content, particularly around leadership and project management, supported me to apply for and gain this position. My advice to anyone interested in applying for the NUI Certificate in European Youth Mobility Project Management this September is to go for it. You won’t look back!” You can read more about Rachel’s experience here.
You can visit the NUI cert page for further information on dates, fees and application processes, and read more about the impact the course has had in our Building Intercultural Youth Projects blog!
