We are delighted to announce that our Connecting Schools across Europe Summer School for primary and secondary teachers is running in July 2020. This DES approved blended course will take place online, and Léargas will cover the costs this year.
Connecting Schools across Europe will introduce teachers to the eTwinning programme, guiding them as they explore, communicate, and collaborate on the online platform. It will highlight the potential for growth and professional development under eTwinning, and also introduce the benefits of Erasmus+.
Teachers will receive practical tips and guidelines that will enrich their teaching, specifically in the area of collaborative digital learning, enabling them to forge new and lasting connections with like-minded educators at home and abroad.
This course will run as two days video conferencing via Zoom (replacing face-to-face) and three days of online learning with Moodle. Teachers will be guided through the eTwinning platform and learn how to start and join in projects. They will be working with like-minded individuals and build on/create.
The dates are Wednesday 01 July 2020 – Tuesday 07 July 2020 from 09:15 am – 2:15 pm each day.
