Léargas wishes to add to our panel of external evaluators for Erasmus+ in Ireland for 2020, when the current cycle of programmes will finish. This call is intended to support the completion of the current programme lifecycle, but we reserve the right for the current panel to be extended into 2021 to support a smooth transition into future programmes.
We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced independent experts to carry out quality assessments of Erasmus+ applications and reports in Adult Education, School Education, Vocational Education and Training, and Youth.
Potential applicants should be familiar with the Erasmus+ Programme Guide, and with the objectives and policy priorities for each type of project. To fully understand your role in the application and selection process, we also recommend that you read the Erasmus+ Evaluators Guide.
The deadline for applications is midnight (GMT) on 24 February 2020.
External evaluators appointed by Léargas to the panel will be paid a fee ranging from €120 to €360 per application or report, depending on type, size and budget. Fees are not paid for attending annual briefing/debriefing meetings, and expenses associated with evaluations are not refunded.
Briefing and technical training will be provided to the selected evaluators in spring 2020: dates will be confirmed as soon as possible. If you’re selected to be on the panel, you will be required to attend the training and briefing sessions.
You need to use this online application form to apply. We cannot accept applications in any other form. The deadline for receipt of applications is midnight (GMT) on 24 February 2020.
Current panel members do not need to re-apply.
Please note: Should the need arise, Léargas reserves the right to add suitably qualified evaluators to the panel.
