About this event
Join us at European YouthFest, to celebrate and recognise the learning of young people who took part in European Programme-funded activities in 2022.
The day will be packed with fun filled actviities including djs, festival face painting, silent disco, and opportunities to express your creativity.
While European YouthFest will act as the Irish closing ceremony for the European Year of Youth, there are still plenty of European programmes available for young people in 2023! This event will include opportunities to learn about European programmes for young people and demonstrate how they can create a positive impact at a local and national level.
European YouthFest will recognise the impact of non-formal learning on young people who participated in European youth projects. Organisations who have newly received a Quality Label, or Erasmus+ Accreditation, will also be awarded during the event.
Young people and those working with young people will also have the opportunity to engage in a series of workshops on topics such as young people and mental health, skills summary and Youthpass. The event will highlight how European policy can support the development of young people’s competences and promote solidarity.
Who is this for?
Youth , community and voluntary organisations, schools and other groups working with young people, aged 13-30 years, are invited to attend. As well as returned ESC volunteers and DiscoverEU Travellers.
Every young person under 18 must be registered and accompanied by a leader from their group/organisation (e.g., Teacher, Youth Leader, etc.). Leaders will be responsible for their group of young people throughout the entire event.
