Léargas Forum

November 28 2017 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Dublin Castle Conference Centre, Dublin 2

We have an exciting and interesting day planned with performances from Crooked House Theatre Company and Galway Community Circus. In addition to the keynote address we will have a lively panel discussion hosted by Ursula Halligan on the subject of European Citizenship 30 years on.

This year we have four facilitated workshops to choose from:

  • One Good Adult: This one hour workshop is aimed at adults who support, work or volunteer with young people in their community.
  • Screenagers: Active Citizenship in a Digital Era – Screenagers is a collaborative international research project  focussing on the use of ICT, digital and social media with young people.
  • See the Change, Sustain the Change: Find out how to recognise the impact of your project and help make sure it lasts.
  • European Solidarity Corps: An introduction to the new European Union initiative which creates opportunities for young people to volunteer or work in projects in their own country or abroad, for     the benefit of communities and people around Europe.

Our Project Showcase will inspire you to start planning your own projects and you can find out about opportunities, including Erasmus+ 2018, at the ‘Ask Léargas’ hub.

Register now on Eventbrite!

Registration closes on Friday 23 November or earlier if all places are filled.  We regret that we won’t be able to take registrations by phone or email.

Please do share the event on Facebook and Twitter, and if you have any questions let us know at comms@leargas.ie.
