Join us on 03 December for the Léargas Forum at Dublin Castle Conference Centre. We have an exciting day planned with a keynote address from Hazel Chu, a performance from Experience Japan Taiko Team and a lively panel discussion about the role of educational exchange and cooperation programmes in building a more inclusive Europe. As political and socio-economic shifts in Europe and the wider world create a climate of unpredictability, it has become more important than ever to counter marginalisation and exclusion. We believe that European values and the programmes we manage have a part to play in building a more inclusive Europe, where we are truly stronger together.

Adding Europe; getting value from European Cooperation, Collaboration and Co-Teaching in educational projects Conor Galvin
We often talk about bringing a european dimension to our work as teachers and doing projects which reach-out to european partners and/or use project materials to locate and energise learning in our teaching worlds. But it can be difficult to get a good balance in this between the novel and the truly valuable. Drawing on personal experiences across a range of projects at all levels of education, this workshop sets out to offer both practical advice and ideas to start with if you are thinking about ‘adding Europe’ to your students learning in the near future.
