Would you like to explore drama as a method for adult language learning?
This interactive workshop will include a mix of theory and practice on using drama as a tool for language acquisition. It will examine language teaching through inclusive games, improvisation and scene study.
The workshop is aimed at those teaching languing to adult learners, but would be of relevance to anyone interested in languages and drama.
About the Facilitator
This workshop will be led by Miriam Stewart, a CELT accredited teacher and drama facilitator. She has 12 years’ experience teaching in Ireland, Kenya, India and Thailand as an English language teacher. She also has voluntary experience with SUAS in conducting teacher training in English language teaching and drama, coordinating teaching teams in Africa and Asia and liaising with local educators to develop language and arts curricula.
