Grundtvig Learning Partnerships form a framework for practical co-operation activities between organisations working in adult education.

Compared with the Grundtvig Multilateral Projects, which are more product- or outcome-oriented, partnerships focus more on process, and are intended for smaller organisations, providing for smaller scale co-operation. Grundtvig Learning Partnerships may lead to larger-scale projects such as Grundtvig Multilateral Projects or Grundtvig Thematic Networks.

A Grundtvig Learning Partnership takes place over two years and during this time, learners and adult education staff from at least three participating countries work together on a project with a specific theme of common interest.

FundingEach partner receives a single lump sum contribution towards travel, subsistence and project activity over the two years. These lump-sums vary amongst National Agencies. Lump sums for 2010/2011 are detailed in the Grundtvig Learning Partnership Application eForm, which you can download from the Resources page of this section.
