With the aim of promoting young people's participation in civic life, Youth Democracy projects promote the development of activities between groups of young people--aged 13 to 30--and decision makers or those with experience of policy within the youth field.
These projects require four partner groups (two national and two transnational). National partners need to have different backgrounds or interests.
Youth Democracy projects are supported under Action 1 of the Youth in Action Programme.
| Benefits | Youth Democracy projects allow young people to increase their participation in democratic practices. |
| Funding | Funding is available for activity costs--such as travel, accommodation, food, organisation, information and dissemination--up to 75% of total costs and no more than €50,000. |
