IAESTE trainees in Norway, Summer 2008

IAESTE (The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) is an international student exchange association. It offers students studying architecture, engineering, information technology or science in full-time third-level education the opportunity to gain work experience in another country. 

IAESTE Ireland is managed by Léargas in partnership with the Department of Education and Science. As well as supporting Irish students in gaining work experience abroad, Léargas works with Irish employers to find placements for students coming from outside Ireland.

FundingThe application fee is €90, with €60 refunded should no suitable placement be found. 

A further €100 fee applies once students are successfully placed.
